    This auction is for a vintage SINGLE western cowboy spur with chap guard
    Spur is stamped on both top and bottom of base of shank – NEIL
    Stamped beneath each fixed button – one side is NEIL ANNOTATED STEEL (my best guess on the annotated) – other button has PAT’D (five point star)
    Based on the rounded rowel pin – I would call this a right spur
    Rowel does turn
    Dents and pitting with areas of heavier rust than other areas
    Scuffs and scratches present
    Heel opening measures 3 ¼ inches wide – inside measurement
    Single spur weighs 5.8 ounces – prior to packaging
